A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE
by Tennessee Williams
directed by Frank Hoerner
with Mikhail Basmadjian, Irene Christ, Faye Paris, Alan Paris, Stefan
Cachia Zammit, Rachel Darmanin Demajo.
The drama reveals the character of Blanche DuBois, a woman whose life has
been undermined by her romantic illusions, which lead her to reject
realities. The pressure brought to bear upon her sister, with whom she
goes to live, intensified by the earthly and 'ordinary' husband of her
sister, leads to a revelation of her tragic self - delusion, and in the
end to madness.
